PRODUCTION STAGES
Merino Componentes Industriales S.L. produces, cuts, stores and distributes PVC and ABS edging, both plain colours and wood imitations. The production is carried out by extrusion in a calender, resulting in coils of about 70 cm wide, with thicknesses from 0.40 mm. to 2.00 mm.
Merino Componentes Industriales carries out all the production phases necessary for the manufacture of an edgebanding, from the purchase of the raw materials at source to the arrival of the cut edgebanding at the customer’s premises.
STEP 1
Storage and mixing of materials
STORAGE and MIXING OF RAW MATERIALS
Storage of all the raw materials necessary for the manufacture of an edge (resin, stabilizers, process aids, acrylates…) and mixing in the turbo mixer for the exact weighing of the components and their homogeneous mixing.
STEP 2
Extrusion of mixed material
EXTRUSIÓN
Extrusion of the mixed material in the latest generation PVC and ABS extruders.
STEP 3
Printing for reproduction
IMPRESSION
Printing for exact reproduction of any wood or design.
STEP 4
Lacquered with varnish
LACQUER
Lacquered. Protection of the folio with a varnish film adjusts the desired gloss and protects it from external agents.
STEP 5
Edge embossing
EMBOSSING
Edge embossing with the numerous finishes available.
STEP 6
Primer Application
PRIMER APPLICATION
Application of the Primer to ensure perfect adhesion of the edge to the board.
STEP 7
Width cut
COURT
Cut to the width desired by the client (from 15 mm to 700 mm.)

Product storage
STORAGE AND DISTRIBUTION
Warehouse where all merchandise issues are organized and prepared and customer stocks are stored to guarantee delivery dates.
